Project Hail Mary

When science teacher Ryland Grace awakens aboard a distant spaceship, he has no memory of his identity or purpose. As fragments of his past return, he realizes he’s on a critical mission: to decipher a peculiar substance that threatens the sun and, consequently, all life on Earth.
