In a whirlwind adventure, Rajini and Maina flee their village, hitching a ride with a stranger and a petty thief. Their daring escape leads to an impromptu wedding with a stolen wedding thali. However, their joyous start takes a dark turn when Maina becomes haunted by the spirit of Ponnarasi, seeking vengeance for past wrongs linked to the thali. With the help of a local priest, Rajini embarks on a quest to uncover the truth and free Maina from the clutches of the vengeful spirit.
